Revitalizing the Home

This project started as a restoration. The original homestead on the property was thought to be built back in the 1870’s. So our goal was to bring the old home back to its former glory and to construct an addition that complemented the original home and felt that it had been there for a century.

The Wood:

Most all the wood on the project was reclaimed from the property or from a local supplier who acquired the barn wood from older homes. The exterior is a board and batten cedar.
